* The above listed fees are to be used as a reference, not as an actual fee. In most cases the adoption fee will not go over the high price point quoted. On rare occasions, or in extenuating circumstances an adoption fee may be increase or decreased to best serve the health, welfare, and interests of the animal being adopted as well as the animals here at the rescue.
** The average fees listed above are for an adoption of the animal without a habitat, cage, carrier, tank, aquarium, or any other type of housing. In some instances, an appropriate habitat may be available for purchase at an addition cost. This cost however will be greatly reduced from retail value.
*** Small birds shall consist of Parakeets, Lories, Budgies, and similar birds excluding Parrotlets. Medium birds shall consist of Doves, Lovebirds, Parrotlets, Canaries, Cockatiels, and similar birds excluding ANY member of the Cockatoo, Amazon Parrot, or Macaw Families. Large birds shall designate any of the Cockatoo, or Macaw families. It shall also cover Congo African Greys, Timneh Greys, Amazon Parrots, and similar large birds. Cages for adopted birds are not supplied nor are they included in the fees for adoption. In some instances arrangements can be made to purchase a cage from the rescue at a greatly reduced price.
