We are funded and operate solely on the good will of the general public, and animal community. It is because of this the we have to collect a surrender fee for animals turned over to our custody as well as charge an adoption fee for those being placed. Generally speaking the adoption fee will represent 10% of the pet store average costs in addition to any fees that we have accrued during their stay here at the rescue. It should be noted that certain fees will be obviously higher than others. (i.e.: a ferrets adoption or surrender fee will be far less than a large bird.) IN ADDITION, ALL BIRDS WILL COME TO YOU IN GOOD HEALTH, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED IN WRITING BEFORE ADOPTION. ANY BIRDS THAT HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS WILL BE MADE KNOWN TO YOU WELL IN ADVANCE!!! ALL BIRDS ADOPTED FROM THIS AGENCY WILL HAVE YOUR WRITTEN CONSENT THAT A MEMBER OF THE RESCUE’S EXECUTIVE STAFF MAY COME AND INSPECT THE LIVING CONDITIONS OF THE ANIMAL WITH REASONABLE NOTICE.
