FIRST AND FOREMOST, THE REASON YOU ARE SURRENDERING YOUR EXOTIC PET OR BIRD IS NONE OF OUR BUSINESS. WE ARE HERE TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY GET A GOOD HOME!!! THAT BEING SAID, BELOW YOU WILL FIND A SCHEDULE OF FEES ASSOCIATED WITH SURRENDERING YOUR PET. THESE FEES ARE NOT CUT IN STONE, THEY ARE HERE TO GIVE YOU A REFERENCE. UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES, ALL SURRENDER FEES CAN BE WAIVED. DO NOT ASSUME THAT IF YOU CAN'T PAY WE CAN'T HELP!!!

* The above listed fees are to be used as a reference, not as an actual fee. In most cases the surrender fee will not go over the high price point quoted. On rare occasions, or in extenuating circumstances a surrender fee may be increase or decreased to best serve the health, welfare, and interests of the animal being adopted as well as the animals here at the rescue.
** The average fees listed above are for surrender of the animal with a habitat, cage, carrier, tank, aquarium, or any other type of suitable housing. In some instances, an appropriate habitat may be available for purchase at an addition cost should you not be able to provide one. This cost however will be greatly reduced from retail value.
*** Canine and Feline surrender fees are NON-NEGOTIABLE. The rescue retains the right to decline accepting the surrender of any canine or feline at any time. This rescue is in place for exotics pets. We understand that circumstances may lead to the need for surrendering your dog or cat so we suggest you try your local animal shelter first.
**** Small birds shall consist of Parakeets, Lories, Budgies, and similar birds excluding Parrotlets. Medium birds shall consist of Doves, Lovebirds, Parrotlets, Canaries, Cockatiels, and similar birds excluding ANY member of the Cockatoo, Amazon Parrot, or Macaw Families. Large birds shall designate any of the Cockatoo, or Macaw families. It shall also cover Congo African Greys, Timneh African Greys, Amazon Parrots, and similar large birds. Cages must be supplied with all birds. They are not included in the fees for surrender. In some instances arrangements can be made to purchase a cage from the rescue at a greatly reduced price.
